About Me…
My approach is to provide a caring, understanding, and supportive environment that encourages self-discovery and growth. I am passionate about helping struggling couples and individuals identify and alter the factors that prevent them from having fulfilled lives and relationships.
Through the lens of Attachment Theory, I believe that our early relational experiences have a significant influence on our current relationships. For some, those early relational experiences were positive and provided those individuals with a sense of security within themselves and with others. For others, there may have been past emotional injuries, that when triggered, could cause negative behavioral reactions. I desire to walk with my clients through the process of healing those injuries while providing insightful tools and encouragement to allow for positive growth and satisfying relationships.
I have been practicing as a therapist for over 11 years after working 10 years as a Civil Engineer. My decision to pursue a career in counseling was born out of my own personal journey of therapy. The healing and growth that I experienced, together with my developing faith, led me to pursue this path to help others.
