My therapeutic style is rooted in honesty and compassion. I draw from a blend of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care, and I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I have a special interest in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, focusing on gender identity, family dynamics, and the impact of societal pressures. I also support clients navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and relationship issues, with an emphasis on communication, mutual respect, and building healthy connections.
I aim to provide a therapeutic environment that is both kind and nonjudgmental, while also being direct and goal-oriented. My clients can expect honesty, collaboration, and a focus on achievable steps toward personal growth and healing. Together, we’ll create realistic, meaningful goals to help you move forward and thrive.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m an animal lover through and through. I grew up on a ranch in Texas, training horses and barrel racing. These days, I live with my wife, who is a high school teacher, midwife, and nurse practitioner, along with our three kids, two dogs, and three chickens. My life is grounded in connection, honesty, and compassion, and I bring that same energy into my work with every client. I believe in the power of connection, and I’m honored to walk alongside clients on their journey.
