Kelly Kennedy, APC

Like many therapists, my own life experiences shaped my passion for this work and deepened my belief in the power of healing. Through navigating personal challenges and growth, I developed a strong desire to help others feel seen, understood, and empowered in their own journeys. I believe healing happens in safe, supportive relationships where you can show up fully as yourself, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. For many people, healing also includes reconnecting with spirituality, meaning, purpose, and the deeper parts of themselves that bring comfort and hope.

I am a nervous-system–informed therapist who works with teens (16+) and young women navigating anxiety, trauma, self-esteem challenges, perfectionism, attachment wounds, and life transitions. I provide an inclusive, affirming space for LGBTQIA+ clients and anyone seeking deeper self-understanding, emotional healing, spiritual connection, and lasting change. My goal is to help clients reconnect with safety, self-trust, and alignment so they can move through life with greater confidence, authenticity, and inner peace.

A few areas I specialize in include:

  • Anxiety and chronic stress
  • Trauma and nervous system dysregulation
  • Perfectionism and high self-criticism
  • Low self-esteem and self-worth struggles
  • Attachment styles and relationship patterns
  • Inner child wounds and unresolved childhood experiences
  • Life transitions and identity exploration
  • Women’s issues and empowerment
  • Difficulty trusting yourself or setting boundaries
  • Emotional overwhelm and burnout
  • Building self-compassion and emotional resilience
  • Spiritual exploration, meaning-making, and values-based healing

My approach is holistic, collaborative, and deeply person-centered. I integrate a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), inner child healing, and spiritually aligned practices within an integrative mental health and wellness framework. I recognize the deep connection between the mind, body, spirit, and nervous system, and I help clients understand how past experiences may still be influencing their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and sense of purpose today.

Together, we’ll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen the tools already within you, and create space for meaningful growth and healing. I believe healing is not linear, and lasting transformation happens through compassion, curiosity, faith, and small, intentional steps. My hope is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, connected to your most authentic self, and supported in both your emotional and spiritual journey.
