Katy Lewis Apc

I believe that clients are the experts of their own experiences, and am passionate about helping clients increase self-awareness and self-determination. I use an integrative approach that pulls from relational therapy, art and expressive therapies, CBT, and DBT skills.  My goal for sessions is to balance thoughtful exploration of the self and values alongside building skills to manage presenting concerns. I prioritize creating a genuine, safe, and trusting space for clients to explore their experiences and concerns.

I am an Associate Professional Counselor who received my Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UGA. I have worked with adolescents, young adults, and adults in private practice and college counseling settings, and am passionate about supporting clients through life transitions. I have worked with clients with a variety of presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and grief. I also have a special interest in working with clients who experience disordered eating and negative body image. I tailor sessions based on client needs and preferences, and aim to affirm clients with diverse identities and experiences.

I feel honored when I am able to be a part of clients healing and thriving.
