Jylyan is a Licensed Professional Counselor with her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia and her Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. Jylyan has been working in the field of mental health and substance use for over a decade.
Jylyan works from a person-centered and strength-based approach. She utilizes a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to assist individuals in making connections between their thoughts and their behaviors. Jylyan enjoys working with individuals that are looking to reclaim their life from addiction and engage in long term recovery and/or identify healthy living patterns, individuals 18 and older, young adults transitioning into adulthood, couples managing relationship dynamics and families seeking assistance in navigating family systems.
Jylyan enjoys navigating the therapeutic process of self-discovery and introspection with those that she has an opportunity to work with as they grow and develop into the best version of themselves.
