Dr. Lisa Peluso works with a diverse population of adults and young adults. She uses an integrated approach to therapy tailored to the
individual needs of her clients.She incorporates psychodynamic,interpersonal, emotion focused and cognitive behavioral therapies in her work.
Dr. Peluso specializes in working with survivors of sexual, physical and emotional abuse. Additionally, her other areas of specialty include trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship problems,mood disorders and ADHD.She views therapy as a collaborative process that promotes self discovery and acceptance, healing and growth. Feeling safe within the therapeutic relationship is essential. Clients need to feel safe to talk
about their thoughts, feelings, issues and goals. Dr. Peluso strives to provide a safe, empathic, non-judgmental environment for her clients to explore their many facets and develop healthy coping skills.
She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University (formerly the Professional School of Psychology) in Atlanta, Ga.
