Candace Collier, LMSW

Many of us reach moments when our usual ways of coping stop working. Therapy offers a space to explore those moments with curiosity and support. I work with adults who want to build greater emotional resilience, break unhelpful patterns, and feel more connected to themselves. My goal is to offer a supportive, down-to-earth space where you can process complex stressors, better understand your responses, and regain a sense of agency.

Candace specializes in working with individuals aged 18 and older who may be facing:

  • Anxiety/Stress-Management & Panic Attacks
  • Depression
  • Life Transitions
  • Relationship Issues
  • Co-Dependancy
  • Divorce
  • Parenting
  • Women’s Issues

Our work will explore how past experiences shape the ways you respond to challenges today. With compassion and curiosity, we’ll look at these patterns together while developing practical strategies that support meaningful growth. I integrate cognitive-behavioral approaches with mindfulness and somatic practices, recognizing that stress and trauma affect both the mind and the nervous system. We’ll strengthen your ability to notice what you’re experiencing, regulate difficult emotions, and build coping skills that support you in everyday life.

I believe you already have strengths and internal resources that can help you move forward. Therapy is a place to deepen your understanding of yourself, build confidence in your ability to navigate life’s challenges, and create a greater sense of clarity, balance, and resilience.

I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Tulane University and am a proud mom to two college-age daughters. Outside of the office, I enjoy reading, creative projects, and deep conversations about consciousness, human nature, and the bigger questions in life.
