I started my career in mental health in 2013 after a long career in the world of business IT. I obtained a master’s in clinical mental health counseling, and a doctorate in counseling and human services. I did an internship at Anchor Psychiatric Hospital and Life University Student Success Center. I worked with a variety of populations from bi-polar disorder to anxiety. I have experienced my own issues with anxiety and would love to assist you with yours. I have worked with adolescents who suffered from anorexia or bulimia eating disorders. I have a passion for the LGBTQ community and mental health. I wrote my dissertation on issues pertaining to lesbian and gay issues at it relates to religion. I consider myself an eclectic, non-judgmental counselor. I am also a Certified Prepare & Enrich Provider and Trainer. Counseling couples using this specialized technique is a passion of mine.
